Concrete Countertops

An excellent alternative to such common countertop materials as marble, granite or Corian, especially here in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex; concrete countertops offer unique visual appeal, strength, wide selection of colors, and resistance to wear and tear.

Acid Staining

For those wishing a distinct look to their floors, a direct acid stain is an excellent option. This type of staining is a reactive process; the acid and metallic salts in the stain react with the concrete, creating unique color schemes.

Microfinish concrete overlays are a special polymer-enhanced, cement-based material applied over your existing concrete floor that creates a new, smooth surface ready for acid or water staining. These concrete overlays have a great advantage over a direct acid stain because by resurfacing your floor, we can eliminate many eyesores prior to applying an acid stain. We can also tint the material to create a wide range of colors; many more than what we can achieve with a regular acid stain.

Skim Coat

If your exterior concrete has an issue, a skim coat is an economical remedy. A skim coat overlay is a thin layer of special cement that is applied to the surface of your existing concrete, opening up new decorative possibilities. A skim coat can fix leveling problems, or if you have extended your patio, blend in new and existing sections of concrete.

Trowel Down

These are freehand random effects troweled (material is pushed around using a flat steel handle) directly into the overlay material while it is still wet. It can be made to imitate stone surfaces while maintaining a relatively flat surface.

Stamped Overlay

Stamping is the process of creating a stone-like appearance on your existing concrete. After thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surface, a 1/4" thick overlay is poured on to the floor and the stone appearance created by pressing a patterned rubber matt directly into it while it's still soft. Textures such as granite, sandstone, and roman slate can be created.
